Good morning. Happy first day of fall!
As it happens, this post also marks the 200th missive from Everyday Magic.
It’s a great opportunity to once again thank each of you: for opening and looking at my posts; for your comments and other feedback; and for being part of a small community that continues to enjoy my photographic efforts. Thank you so much.
Hope you find the time to get outside in the next few weeks and months. Happy fall!
Beautiful pics!
In general, as AI becomes an ever more omnipresent part of our lives, questions like yours will also become increasingly difficult to answer. Part of the reason is that image editing apps such as Photoshop are embedding more and more AI tools, so of course we all are using them (much easier and more accurate). So, at this point, even asking if an image is "using AI" is likely difficult to answer in any way other than "probably." That said, since I both took and edited the middle photo in 2014, before most AI had found its way into image editing apps, I *can* answer your question with a definitive no. The middle photo was taken simply through my skill with a camera, no more, no less. If you look in the upper right, you'll see a few leaves floating on the surface of the water. The water was moving for some reason (probably because it was in a stream that was flowing downhill), which is why the reflection was somewhat distorted. That distortion, in turn, is likely why I took the photo in the first place. I love water reflections.
