The cottonwoods in the Jemez were blazing yellow this past week so I wandered around looking for photos. I came across a small dirt lot that appeared to have become a temporary pumpkin concession.
While there was a sign calling it a “pumpkin patch,” there were few pumpkins in evidence. There were, however, a couple of very creative scarecrows with cottonwood backgrounds I couldn’t resist.
May Halloween be as creative a proposition for you as it was for the scarecrows’ makers.
